Hi all,

I bought my laptop in November for studying and school work. Since the day I got it, it has randomly frozen/locked up with the screen freezing and it being totally unresponsive, not even the lights on the caps lock or volume buttons respond, forcing me to hold the power button down to shut down and restart. It happens about once a week usually, if I'm lucky it might work without a hitch for 2 weeks with no lock ups. I regularly check and update my drivers and make sure to keep updated, I've done many troubleshooting scans via HPs support assistant as well but no solutions have been given. What can I do to fix this? It doesn't seem to happen because of activity in particular, it happens with and without video playing some times after a couple of hours of use other times minutes after booting up. Any help or advice would be very appreciated, thanks.
