Product: Envy T515 Notebook J1Y24EA#ABU
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

While the Notebook is running, and its operation appears normal, the HDD LED does not work.  The cooling fan runs, the external power LED is Orange on charge and white on a fully charged battery; its just the HDD light does not work.

I understand that the HDD light does not work on your HP ENVY TouchSmart 15-j184sa Notebook PC. 

 

This issue could occur if the HDD LED is busted or not working.

 

HDD LED indications:

 

● Blinking white: The hard drive is being accessed.

● Amber: HP 3D DriveGuard has temporarily parked the hard drive
