HP 15-ay022ds
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Hi, I have a HP 15-ay022ds Notebook that refuses to boot to the login screen despite everything I did. I have done  multiple hard resets and even took it apart to make sure the memory and hard drive was well seated but nothing worked. When I turn it on the hp logo comes up but then it disappears and goes to gray. I am able to move the cusor and make the mouse appear and the touch screen is still functoning. I am also able to load into BIOs as well so I doubt it is a display issue and more hardware related. The laptop was also working as of yesturday but something might have interuptted to reset process as I was working on wiping the computer back to factory windows 10 settings. Please help.

Thank you

Have you tried to restart the System Recovery process at power on? Immediately after powering on start tapping the Esc key. This will open a menu where F11 System Recovery is an option. Tap F11 and use the guide here:

I tried doing that and it still shows a gray screen.

Immediately after powering on start tapping the Esc key. At the menu where F2 System Diagnostics is an option-tap F2 key and run the tests.
