HP 2000
Microsoft Windows 8.1 (32-bit)

After the BIOS update, my laptop suddenly died. No lights blinking. I tried these different troubleshooting procedures but to no avail. 1. Removing the battery and plug in the AC cord and pressing the Windows key + B or V while holding the power button.

2. Removing the CMOS battery and installing it again. 3. Did a hard reset.  Maybe the update "killed" my laptop? As of now, there are no lights blinking (caps lock, AC light, etc). Just a blank screen. How do I resolve this issue? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
