HP 650 G2 BIOS PASSWORD

HP 650 G2
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi!

I recently bought a HP 650 G2 from a local school that was swapping some of their laptops.

It came with a broken screen, so I ordered one and replaced it.

Now when I'm trying to access the BIOS, It says that there is a password.

Serial number: [edited]

Model: HP 650 G2

Is there anyone that can help me remove it? The school said that they do not put a password on their computers, and it's most likely a student that has done it.

@OskarB98

When asked for the password, just hit enters 3 times.

Post any code you receive.

No code, just press the power button to restart the system.

Sorry to hear that @OskarB98

Then you will need to contact HP in your region and they should be able to send you a customized SMC.bin file which you can use at boot to reset the password.
