HP EliteBook 6930p won't turn on after display assembly replacement

One of my attempts to repair this laptop (it is an EliteBook 6930p) has proven once again to be unsuccessful. At the time of my writing this, I had recently replaced the display assembly. While the repair went well, the computer doesn't turn on anymore. I've tried with and without the battery, no luck. I even tried power cycling it, and still, nothing. I don't know what to do now and any insights as to why this is and how I may be able to fix this really is greatly appreciated.
