HP Elitebook x360 1040 G6 Bios password reset

HP Elitebook x360 1040
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello, i've in my hands an HP Elitebook x360 1040 G6 computer of one of our customers, We have nearly full access on it, we can get to windows, we are obviously administrators of the machine but for some reasons this machine was brand new and came in with a pre-inserted BIOS password. We need to access the BIOS to update the machine firmware and we need to reset the passwor *NOT KNOWING IT* (therefore there's no privacy violation, especially if we consider the fact we can actually reach the OS since we already removed the bitlocker protection for it to be prepared for a user).

How can we fully reset the CMOS, password included, se we can manage to update the BIOS? For some reasons the computer has no HP SpareKey on it and it's still under warranty. Normally, for HP notebooks, i'd reset it by removing the battery and hitting the reset keystroke but in this case it does nothing.
What can I do?
