Product: Envy 15 inch ( not 360)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello,

I have HP Envy 15 inch model ( not 360) .. this started with laptop not turning on .. (used to start only on direct adapter post disconnecting battery). When battery was checked it was bloated hence replaced with original hp battery. 
now battery health shows good through HP boot diagnostics utility.. however laptop becomes dead when lid is closed or normally shutdown and every times need battery disconnect and static discharge to turn it on.. 


I have done bios restart couple of times, done all hp recommended power plan changes, windows reset .. still not able to resolve this issue.. please help to know if this is hardware issue and need further diagnostic or if I am missing anything.. thanks
