Hi Community,

I have HP envy laptop serial number [personal info removed].

The problem is if the laptop goes into sleep mode it doesn't come out of the sleep if I leave it unattended for more than 30 minutes.

Every time I have to force restart it. In the process, I lose the work I was doing.

To fix this issue I tried everything on the internet and also took help from university tech support but there is no luck for me. The issue persists.

Can you please advise me to fix this issue?

Thanks

Prabhat

Hello, Thank you for providing a detailed description to fix the issue.

I did everything I did but It did not solve the issue.

I figured out that this laptop originally came with windows 8.1, so when I installed Windows 10 OS but all the drivers for windows 8.1( older version of the drivers) it fixed the issue.

I appreciate your help it gave me new ideas to fix it.
