HP ENVY x360 - 15-dr1072ms

Hi, I am a computer technician at National Networks LLC.  This is my client's computer.  I have troubleshot it as much as i can.  It does not power on.  I can confirm that the battery works, the power cord works, and the motherboard is getting power.  I found now damage and no liquid damage.  IMO the board is dead.   I followed all troubleshooting steps with the virtual agent. Can I purchase a new board from you?

Thank you for posting on the HP Support Community.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help, to provide an accurate resolution, I need a few more details:

  • When was the last time it worked fine?

While you respond to that, let's try these steps:

Hard Reset: Follow steps from the link: https://hp.care/2GnkMa8(Refer to the removable and sealed battery)
BIOS default:(do not skip any troubleshooting steps even if you feel steps are repeating)

  1. Turn off the computer and wait five seconds.
  2. Press the Power button to start the computer and repeatedly press the F10 key to enter the BIOS setup menu.
  3. On the BIOS Setup screen, press F9 to select and load the BIOS Setup Default settings.
  4. Press F10 to Save and    Exit.
  5. Use the arrow keys to select Yes, then press Enter when asked Exit Saving Changes?
  6. Follow the prompts to restart your computer.

If the issue persists, kindly perform the steps mentioned in this document   https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c01997899, No Power or no Boot

Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.

You did not read my post.  I told you it does not power on.  I press the power button and nothing happens.  I have already followed all of your troubleshooting steps.

again, you did not read my post.  I am a computer technician.  I am not an end user.
