HP Envy x360
Microsoft Windows 10 (32-bit)

Laptop failed on start up. Hard drive disk error. Ran diagnostic & failed the long DST. Failure ID Pgcox1-8scaqf-gxggqk-618ao3. Also failed short DST (last six digits of failure ID 6oqjo3). Are there any options besides replacing hard drive? Thank you.

@KM510

Sadly to say: Most of the time the 24 char disk failure id indicates the HDD is failing and it needs to be replaced.. Is it still under warranty ? If NOT, you have to replace yourself then rebuild your machine.

For (original) Windows 10. Please use Cloud Recovery tool:

Thank you for the reply. No - the HP Envy x360 is not still under warranty. I appreciate the link to the Windows 10 recovery site.
