After I installed the latest BIOS update from HP the laptop will not boot to the BIOS where everytime I try to start the machine I just get a blank screen infinity. The machine does not shut itself off or beep. Can you please provide some methods in which I can fix this . I tried using the USB bios reset method using Win+B or Win-V with no success so far. Thanks

Hi @BooCatTech,
Welcome to the HP Support Community!
Thanks for reaching out about your query regarding your laptop!
We're thrilled to have the opportunity to assist you and provide a solution.
Try these steps:
1. Perform a Hard Reset
- Turn off the computer by pressing down the power button until it completely shuts down.
- Disconnect the power adapter from the laptop.
- Remove any external devices connected to the laptop (e.g., printers, external drives).
- Press and hold the power button for approximately 15 seconds to clear residual power.
- Reconnect the power adapter (without reconnecting any other peripherals).
- Attempt to start the computer.
2. Use HP BIOS Recovery with USB Drive
If the Win+B or Win+V method did not work, you can create a BIOS recovery USB drive from another working computer:
Create the USB Recovery Drive:
- Get a USB flash drive with at least 1 GB capacity.
- On another working computer, download the latest BIOS for your specific HP laptop model (15-bs113dx) from the HP Support.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to create a BIOS recovery USB flash drive.
Install the BIOS Recovery File:
- Insert the BIOS recovery USB flash drive into the unresponsive HP laptop.
- Press and hold the Windows + b keys, and then simultaneously press and hold the Power button for 2-3 seconds, then release the power button but continue to hold the Windows + b keys.
- The HP BIOS Update screen should appear, and the recovery process should begin automatically.
- Follow any on-screen instructions to complete the recovery process.
3. Reset the CMOS (Complementary Metal Oxide Semiconductor)
In some cases, resetting the CMOS can help resolve BIOS issues:
- Turn off the laptop and disconnect all external devices.
- Disconnect the power adapter and remove the laptop battery if it's removable.
- Press and hold the power button for approximately 25 seconds.
- Reinsert the battery and reconnect the power adapter.
- Attempt to start the computer.
I hope this helps.
