HP Stream Laptop (Model:) 14-cb103ca

Greeting!

My name is Richard. I have a HP Stream Laptop Model 14-cb103ca and I would like to ask for help turning on the laptop. Today I tried turning it on by holding the power button for 10 seconds like I usually do. However after I let go when the 10 seconds was up, the screen blinked and it looked like it turned back off. The mute volume button shown lit up but the screen would not turn on. I then turned off the computer holding the power button for 5-7 seconds. I waited a minute and turned the laptop back on by holding the power button for a couple seconds. The power light on the left side of the laptop shown on but the “CAPS” lock button was blinking. The screen did not turn on and the caps button kept flashing. The caps button blinked normally 5 times then rapidly 3 times. I then turned the laptop off and started the same process again. The same result kept coming forth every time I tried turning it on. I tried that process about 10-15 times and it still never turned on. I appreciate the opportunity to seek help and try to get my HP laptop restarted!

With great thanks

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

Note that specific patterns of long and short blinks along with long and short beeps (where applicable) identify errors during the startup process.
Newer computers have two-part blink sequences with different color lights to indicate specific errors and you may click here and troubleshoot on your own.

Let me know if this helps.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!

Thanks!

Have a great day!
