Basically, my laptop monitor turns off the moment i plug my laptop to charge, I've tried several fix and so far here are the things I've noticed:
- The laptop works normally if it is not plugged in
- The screen remains to be normal in safe mode even if it's plugged in
- The screen remains to be normal in BIOS even if it's plugged in
- The only issue here is that, the screen is not turning on in normal mode the moment I try to plug it in
- I tried changing refresh rate, power modes, updating drivers, uninstalling previous updates, but none of them works.
I think there is no hardware issue on my laptop since I've also tried doing diagnostics. Please help me, my warranty ends in 5 days.

submit a warranty claim immediately.
If possibly do it by email so you have a record the problem exists during the warranty period. Otherwise make a note of the phone call time and the HP representative you walked to.

Get a printout of the screen that shows it is still in the warranty period. Make a call and get the name of the rep and document your call.
