OMEN Laptop - 15-en0008na
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi, every time I restart from windows I get a black screen. To fix it I press ctrl-alt-delete, it is now getting annoying. Another method is Hard reset using the power button.

This only seems to have happened when I updated to the latest bios from windows F.07. I have no way of returning to the original BIOS. I have completed the following:

  1. Clean install of Windows 10.
  2. Load Bios default.
  3. Install new drivers.

I hope someone can help me fix this.

Hi, your solution does not work. I've had this fixed by Hp repair services. I've noticed the black screen occurs after i attach a external monitor to displayport on the laptop. It does not fix when i re-attach the display. It requires a hard reboot all the time. The windows restart does not work on both external monitor and the laptop.
