Product: HP Pavilion 15-aw072nb
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)
I have a HP Pavilion 15-aw072nb laptop, owned by someone in the family. The laptop is not used daily, even sometimes for weeks. If after weeks the laptop is needed and started it doesn't boot, giving "a boot device not found" error.
I checked the laptop several times;
- running diagnostics to check the solid state disk.
- changing the bios settings, changing system configuration to legacy support.
- noticed the bios system date is not up-to-date.
- checking file system integrity.
But the problem keeps recurring, so at a certain point I checked if can replace the CMOS battery, but after opening I didn't find it immediatly. See attached image.
