Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Hello. How are you.

I will explain my problem the best way I can. My HP laptop will not turn on, I plug in the adapter, the power indicator light illuminates white, when I plug the battery in it turns amber....indicating that it is charging, and it is charging the battery, it turns white when its done. I know the battery is good, I know the adapter is good. When I press the power button nothing, absolutely nothing happens......no lights on the keyboard.....nothing. I have done all the easy test, remove ram remove hard drive, button combos, held down buttons, still, the board will not turn on. I know the board itself is getting power at the adapter terminals, tested with a multimeter.....but I dont know were to go from there. I swapped mother board from one laptop to another, because one was damaged beyond repair, the plastic hinge mount was broken in pieces. I purchased an asis laptop that worked but had screen issues, the one Im trying to save is a better laptop, or board, than the one I bought. I also replaced the screen with issues, with the screen from my laptop. I unpluged the bios battery let it sit over night that didnt work. Both laptops worked without any issue, until I swapped motherboards. I even put the mobo from the one I bought for parts, back in, and it is having the exact same problem.... not turning on. Both laptops worked before I swapped motherboards, now both laptops do not work. If anybody, made it this far, thank you. Any help, is greatly appreciated, thank you very much.

Don't worry as I'll be glad to help,

I appreciate your efforts to try and resolve the issue. This sounds like hardware related issue with the system board and in order to fix this issue,  your computer information needs to be tattooed by the service center.  As we have limited support boundaries in the support community as of now.

I would request you to reach out to our Support and our Support Engineers should be able to check the available service options in order to diagnose the computer physically.  HP Support can be reached by clicking on the following link:  www.hp.com/contacthp/
