I am trying to fix my old laptop due to some issues I have been facing:

When turning my laptop on it doesn't power up, the screen remains black and the laptop beeps twice (2 beeps 5 times). Help guides suggest updating my bios, so I headed to download the upgrade of my bios which is (F.46 Rev.A) I found it on this page https://support.hp.com/gb-en/drivers/selfservice/hp-pavilion-15-p100-notebook-pc-series/7234915/mode... 

I have downloaded the update and I am trying to install it on my second PC to create the file on my USB drive, but when I go to install it, the installer crashes  on the second screen where I should choose which drive to install the update on (seems to be a corrupted file) 

 

can anyone help me out pls?
