Hi I am having the same problem as the other girl spoke about, however, the blinking lights are at caps and num and they are continuous, any suggestions??

I tried the instructions and when I started it back up I get the message "Bios Check Sum failed, then when I press the "Reboot" option i just get a black screen with a blinking cursor in the upper left hand corner.

I have pretty much the same problem, but my caps lock and num lock LEDS are blinking in sequence of 4s.

from the chart i can see that there's a problem with the graphics controller.

what can i do??

I'm having problums with my laptops (HP Pavilion dv4 1428dx) the last thing I did was full format the hard drive and istall windows7 but did not install (error) and I restart.  All the lights are on, but the lap is stuck in Hp logo. cant do anything. If anyone has any solutions I would gladly appreciate them.

I have an HP Pavilion dv7 with a similar problem. The hard reset didn't work. I have tried 2 different power cords and a monitor attached to my computer still doesn't show any image. Since the lights blink continuously, your chart indicates that my computer has insufficient power. What needs to be done to correct that issue?
