HP Pavillion Laptop locks every time I try to start it

HP Pavillion model 15-ab153nr Product ID N5R26UA#ABA
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I downloaded a zip file from a trusted source and rather than extracting the files like I should have done, I clicked on one of the files.  Immediately, my laptop went to a blue screen and showed the word "Locked" and the spinning circle and then the screen goes dark.  I have rebooted the computer several times and each time my wall paper appears and then it goes to the blue screen/ locked routine and then dark.

I reviewed your post and I understand that you are getting bluescreen after downloading a zip file.

 

Don’t worry, I assure you I will try my best to get this sorted.

 

I recommend you perform a system restore back to the date when the computer was working fine following the steps in the below article and check if it helps.
