Hi I recently was gifted an HP Laptop (15-dy2172wm), was told there was something wrong with it, and I enjoy trying to fix stuff so I gladly accepted it.
Anyways, right from the power on it asks for an Admin/Power on password. In the past I've always been able to just put in the wrong pass three times and then get a code. Well, once I put in a wrong password 3 times it didn't give me a code. It said "System Locked. Please press power button to turn off device". And that is literally it. No Code. Nothing. And I feel like I've almost tried everything and it literally won't do or say anything different. HELP.
