Product: HP ProBook 640 G1 Notebook PC (ENERGY STAR)
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11
- What I was doing & experiencing: I was trying to install Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS on a different partition, when I eventually just gave up since it had been multiple days since the installation had started. After I had done so, it said, "No operating system found!" every time I tried to boot. I thought that I should go forth with the installation so that I could use a backup & restore program. But when I did so, the same thing happened! But, this time, when I tried to boot, it just started boot looping. Now, the reason this post isn't marked as "Boot Looping" is because, as of me writing this post, the computer will get past the HP logo, but then bring me to a black screen.
- Any error messages & details: Nope; just a black screen.
- Recent software or driver changes: As mentioned before, I tried dual booting Ubuntu and Windows, but other than that, nothing else.
- Your internet connection: LAN, VPN, or wireless: I mostly use wireless.
