HP Spectre x360 - 13-w006tu

Dear Experts,

My laptop is rarely used, and it's currently not turning on. The charging port appears to be functional, with an orange light indicating charging and a white light indicating a full charge. However, when I attempt to power it on, the power button blinks once, but the laptop doesn't boot up.

I've taken off the back cover and disconnected both the main battery and the CMOS battery. And, carefully reseated the visible connectors, but despite these efforts, the laptop is still not functioning.

Could you please provide me with some information about the possible reasons or solutions for the power button blinking only once? Is it an issue related to hardware, power adapter, battery, or any other?

Thanks.

Hi @JW666 ,

Welcome to the HP Support Community.

I'd like to help!

I understand that this is Hardware issue. But the support here is limited to software troubleshooting. However, since the unit might need repair, I would request you to contact HP Phone support who would have an option to schedule a repair as per the warranty and the issue can be fixed.

For that to happen, we will give you additional instructions/information via Private Message.

Please check your inbox on the forums page for the private message.

If the information I've provided was helpful, give us some reinforcement by clicking the Accepted Solution button, that'll help us and others see that we've got the answers!
