HP Spectre 8265NGW wont turn on or charge. Battery totally drained.

Hello,

I have an HP Spectre that is failing to Turn on & Charge. I have followed all the recommended resolutions for this, including hard reset, using a different power adapter,

As an I'm an IT Professional, I disconnecting and re-connecting the battery, which gave a short amount of usage, on battery power alone it booted into windows and then when the included power adapter was connected the laptop would not charge, so it seems there is no power being received by the battery from either of the 2x USB-C thunderbolt ports. 

It would seem that the Motherboard is defective as has been
