HP Spectre x360 15-bl100na-UK
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

My HP Spectre HP Spectre x360 15-bl100na-UK is 20 months old.

I recently noticed that it had intermittent charging issues. The USB-C charger works for any other device perfectly. An the battery once charging and charged, seemed perfectly normal.

Then I would plug the charging cable in either port and it would not work, either booted or shut down, yet if I restarted the device or plugged in the charger at a certain time in the startup process, it would recognise the charger and work fine.

My laptop finally ran out of battery and now I get 3 white lights. Neither USB-C ports recognise the charging cable. I am in my warranty. Yet HP kept pushing me to post in the community.

I have tried pressing power for 15 secs.

Tried Win an V then Power. Tried Win and the other key an power.

I would like to know how to initiate a warranty pick up and collect! The option is phone Mon to Fri or community.

@MattSpectre, Welcome to HP Support Community!

Access this link:https://support.hp.com/us-en/checkwarranty to check your warranty status. And dispute warranty status if it is showing out of warranty, that said, also ensure the steps in this link are followed to recover bios: https://support.hp.com/in-en/document/c02693833

If you still have issues, try using a different cable to charge the PC.

Keep me posted for further assistance.
