Spectre 360

Hi all,

My HP Spectre just died two days ago.  Followed the tips of others, but no joy.  Just spoke to the HP people and they want me to pay $450 bucks to have my motherboard fixed (I am self diagnosing).    What have other people done in this situation?    I don't feel like throwing good money after bad to HP.   Any suggestions welcome. . .

@hwittier

I have brought your issue to the attention of an appropriate team within HP. They will likely request information from you in order to look up your case details or product serial number. Please look for a private message from an identified HP contact. Additionally, keep in mind not to publicly post personal information (serial numbers and case details).

If you are unfamiliar with how the Forum's private message capability works, you can learn about that here.

Thank you for visiting the HP Support Community.

I work on behalf of HP.

Hi all.  Quick update.  HP wants me to pay ~$450 to have this repaired.   Its 16 months old.     I am shocked that they won't stand behind their top of the line product and just let it blow up. . . .
