Hello. I'm new to the HP Family. This is maybe my fourth time using my new HP Spectre x 360 laptop. It's been good so far, and I'm almost done setting things up. I've noticed one issue when I shut down the laptop (settings, shut down, or power button), the laptop battery drains. The next time I boot up I notice the batter is almost depleted. I changed the power button operation to shut down after I noticed this, but I booted up today and the battery was again drained. I know this isn't normal behavior, so can someone please let me know what settings to change so this doesn't happen again? FYI - I have all the latest updates installed on the laptop.

Thanks

Hello @a22matic

Keep an eye on the notebook and report back if you are satisfied with the solution or not.

Just checked and logged off with the battery at 99% last night. Rebooted today a few minutes ago and the battery is still at 99%. I will check back one more time in the next 2-3 days, and if that was a fix, I will accept it as a solution. I'm not sure if one or both did the trick, but I'm glad there appears to be a solution. Once again, thank you for all the help.
