Spectre x360 15-inch
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello All,

My HP Spectre x360 15-inch recently shut off while I was working on it. From there, I tried powering it on again and the lights turn on, fans run, but the screen remains black. I took it to a repair shop and they said that it was a motherboard issue. Upon further inspection, it looks like there have been other motherboard issues in this same model.

I have only had this laptop for 1 year and 6 months and I have treated it incredibly well. It has had no other issues but unfortunately, it is 6 months out of warranty. Considering the price I paid for this laptop, I am shocked that it has only lasted me this long. Any suggestions on how to move forward?
