Hello.
I'm having an issue with my HP Spectre x360 - 13t-4200 CTO laptop where it will not turn on or charge. This seems to be a common problem searching the forums (link 1,2,3) but I was not able to find any solutions to the issue.
I recently was without the laptop for several months (long story). Once I had the laptop back in my possession I found that the battery was no longer recognized by the laptop but I could use the computer if it was plugged in. After ordering and replacing the battery from an approved hp battery supplier, the computer recognized the battery and all was good. However the next day I discovered that the computer was dead and that it would no longer charge. Thinking it was the charger I got a new one but did not fix the issue. I also tried several outlets around the house and none work. Additional the light next to the charging port will not light up when the adapter is plugged in.
Based on what I have been able to read on this issue it looks to be a mother board issue. Has anyone been able to fix this problem without replacing the motherboard? If it is I'm likely to just get a new laptop then put any more money into a 4 year old computer and it definitely won't be another HP after this experience.

Sorry for the delayed response. It has been a terrible week.
I went through you steps and got the computer to turn back on by completing the hard reboot! Unfortunately I keep getting an error on the battery and ac adapter test. I've provided the test log for the battery test and ac adapter test below. It looks like the battery is charging but doesn't indicate it. on the battery icon. I have recently replaced the battery after the computer could not detect the original one. It was procured from one of hp authorized dealers. I have tried two different adapter and each one give the same result.
