Hello Community
on my husband's HP Laptop 15, the HP diagnostic tools pops up after hitting the shortcut key combination ALT GR + s. this is used by word and windows to create the German ß. As he often writes in German, this creates a lot of annoyance. Is there a way to change the shortcut for HP Diagnostic?
TIA
Helena

Hi @Helena_G,
Welcome to the HP Support Community.
I'd be happy to help you!
To change the shortcut key combination for the HP Diagnostic tools on your HP Laptop 15, you can try the following steps:
Open HP Support Assistant: Look for the HP Support Assistant application on your computer. You can usually find it by searching in the Windows search bar.
Access Settings: Once HP Support Assistant is open, look for settings or options related to the diagnostic tools. There should be an option to customize or change the shortcut key combination.
Change Shortcut Key: In the settings, you should be able to change the shortcut key combination from ALT GR + s to something else that doesn't conflict with the German "ß" character.
Save Changes: After you've changed the shortcut key combination, make sure to save your changes.
If you can't find the option to change the shortcut key combination in HP Support Assistant, you may need to look in the laptop's BIOS settings.
However, changing BIOS settings should be done with caution, as incorrect changes can cause issues with your computer.
If you're not comfortable with changing BIOS settings, it's best to contact HP phone support for assistance.
Hope this helps! Keep me posted for further assistance.
