Hi

I have a hp elitebook 835 g7 that worked fine until i applied the last may 2024 BIOS update.

 

after a windows restart and a 100% Bios update and another automatic restart,there was no display but only fan noise, and some on leds ON and after a few second it shutdown automaticaly.
i found an Official HP video on youtube to proceed a easy BIOS flash from the boot with an USB drive but i was surprised that only the bios file can't be downloaded and missing from the FTP server ( file not found is displayed ) but the others drivers files can be downloaded without problem.

 

i would to know how to proceed to the USB drive Bios update since the file isn't available and i didn't find any older HP bios update file for my elitebook ?

Hi, I've had exactly the same problem on two laptops this week. Have you found a solution? For me, recovery via USB key doesn't work.

Only to be resolved by offline programming, and seems they recalled this update
