HP envy x360 15-ee0996nd won't start

Envy x360 15-ee0996nd
Linux

Hello,

A few months ago I bought an HP envy x360.

I installed Manjaro linux on it and it worked great for a while.

However this morning it suddenly wont start.

When I hold the power button nothing happens, or I get the hp logo and it waits indefinitely.

I tried plugging it into an external monitor, however that didn't change anything.

I tried running the uefi diagnostics, which gave me the following results.

Running the storage test told me i don't have any storage installed.

The system board test told me audio is not available.

Aside from those tests it passed them all.

Could anyone help me resolve this issue?

I'm sorry, but HP only warranties their PCs for usage with the OS that comes preinstalled.

IF you replace that with a Linux distro, or add a Linux distro, then you assume full responsibility for maintaining that -- including solving any problems with booting the other OS and/or installing the other OS.

Your best bet for support with issues with Linux is to contact the support forum of the distro you are using.
