Hi @Mommyyork30

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're here to help you get back up and running.

I acknowledge the situation with your HP Envy x360 not powering on. Let’s go through recommended steps to restore functionality:

Step 1: Perform a Hard Reset

  1. Disconnect the AC adapter.
  2. Press and hold the Power button for 15 seconds to discharge residual power.
  3. Reconnect the AC adapter (leave the battery connected if internal).
  4. Press the Power button once to attempt startup.

Step 2: Check AC Adapter and Power Source

  • Ensure the adapter is firmly connected to both the laptop and wall outlet.
  • If available, test with another compatible HP adapter to confirm power delivery.

Step 3: Run HP Hardware Diagnostics (if system powers on partially)

  1. Press the Power button and immediately tap F2 repeatedly.
  2. Select System Tests > Power > Battery and AC Adapter.
  3. Allow the test to complete and note any error codes.

Step 4: Reset BIOS Settings

  1. Power on and press F10 repeatedly to enter BIOS.
  2. Press F9 to load defaults, then F10 to save and exit.
  3. Attempt to restart the system.

Step 5: Use HP Cloud Recovery Tool (if system remains unresponsive)

  • On another PC, download the HP Cloud Recovery Tool from HP’s official site.
  • Create recovery media and use it to restore your Envy x360.

For detailed instructions, please refer to HP’s official support documentation:
HP Notebook PCs - Computer Does Not Start (Windows 10, 11)

These steps are designed to bring the system back to normal operation.

Take care, and have an amazing day!
