HP laptop isn't turning on, but is fully charged

My HP laptop hasn't turned on in two days. It restarted but turned off afterwards, I believed it was out of battery, so I plugged it in. It finished charging and I tried to turn it on, but it wouldn't. I left it alone overnight and attempted to turn it on the next day, only to find out that it still wouldn't turn on, but it was out of battery. Please answer soon, as I have all of my work on it and very important pictures.

Welcome to HP Forums @WaterNymph95,

Thanks for the post, I see that your computer is not booting. Kudos to you for connecting the charger and observing it overnight. I would like to assist you from here. However, for accurate assistance, I would like to know the product number of the computer and its operating system.

If you recall any updates being installed before this issue occurred, try performing a BIOS recovery, refer http://hp.care/2bXONjA

I would like to know if there are any lights blinking on the keyboard when you try to turn the computer ON.

Also, do you get any HP logo or any error messages on the screen?

Please refer to this article for No Boot troubleshooting http://hp.care/2eKbCpt

Let me know if this helped or reply for further assistance.
