When I start my HP laptop it starts beeping 4 times over and over again. There a blue screen and in the middle it says “would you like to load system” or so. I can choose between yes and no with arrow keys but pressing enter only changes something in the back settings. I would really hope someone can help me and that I don’t need to disassemble the computer.

I fixed it, I just pressed every key a few times and now it started up normally. If someone could still reply and say what you should normally do that would help

Hi @Cool_gamer,

Welcome to the HP Support Community! We're stoked to have you on board!

To help us get started on resolving your issue, could you please share the model name of your device?

Need help finding your product number? We've got you covered! Check out this handy guide:

On HP laptops, four beeps repeating at startup usually points to a hardware failure.

Pressing random keys isn't the recommended fix.

Here's what you should normally do.

Turn off the computer.

Disconnect the AC adapter.

Disconnect all nonessential peripheral devices, such as printers, scanners, external hard drives, and USB flash drives.

With the AC adapter unplugged, press and hold the power button for approximately 15 seconds.

After you drain the capacitors, reconnect the AC adapter. Leave peripheral devices disconnected.

Turn on the computer.

We're looking forward to helping you get back up and running!

Best regards,

Kuroi_Kenshi
