HP Notebook - 15-da0599sa

I’ve installed a ssd m2 hard drive I’ve installed windows 10 on it . Boots perfect , runs fast and smooth now.

I’ve deleted my old hard drive sata 3 1tb  I’ve put it Back in my laptop as I want to use it as storage .

issue is now my computer is now booting from this old hard drive instead and automatic repair keeps coming on.

how do I get round this issue without removing the sata hard drive . I obviously want windows to boot from the ssd m2

Hi:

Did you completely clean the disk using Diskpart?

There normally can't be any trace of Windows on the drive, or the Windows boot manager will always want to boot from the 2.5" drive first and not the SSD.

Then you can format the drive and use it for storage only.
