Hard Disk Short DST Check Failure: unfortunately, after running tests, the drive returned with a "Failed" error.

That error means either the hard drive has failed or is about to fail.  If you can still boot up the PC, do not hesitate but make a backup of everything or make a disk image then replace the drive.
