I dropped my laptop and now my hard drive isn’t working, can this problem be fixed and if so how?

Hi:
Run the hard drive diagnostics test (F2) and see what it reports.
I'm a bit surprised that the 128 GB M.2 SSD failed after you dropped the notebook.
The drive has no movable parts like a traditional 2.5" notebook hard drive has.
The only suggestion I can offer, would be to replace the drive.
I recommend that you replace the 128 GB SATA SSD with a bigger and better 250 GB NVMe SSD.
Below is the link to the service manual where you can find the M.2 SSD removal and replacement procedure.
You can see in chapter 1 that your notebook's M.2 slot supports both SATA and NVMe (PCIe) SSD's.
NVMe SSD's are about 5x faster than SATA drives are.

After you replace the drive, you can use the HP cloud recovery tool on another PC running W7 64 bit or newer to create a bootable USB recovery drive that will reinstall W10, the drivers and the software that originally came with your notebook..
Here is an info link for how to use the utility. You will need a 32 GB USB flash drive to create the recovery media with.
