Product: Hp 15 notebook
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Need help with this hard drive issue it will  not boot up. I think  I need to replace  it but don't know if any other kind with bigger  GB are better.an with one's are compatible

Without knowing the specific model number of the laptop, which I can use to find the specs to see what drive it has currently, I can not recommend any specific replacements.
