HoW SHOULD I REMOVE THE BIOS PASSWORD

ProBook 650 G1
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hi everyone, I've just purchased a used HP Probook 650 G1 in very good condition. But I have a problem. After entering into the bios , it does not let me to me change important settings, unless I type a password. But I did not get password from the guy who sold me this notebook, so I cannot type it. Is there any method or possibility to remove this password? I thank you all for reading this, especially for those who will answer and help me. I apologize for my english langauage,  I know that it is not the best so far. My native langauage is hungarian, but I am keeping on learning it. Thank you so much.

HoW SHOULD I REMOVE THE BIOS PASSWORD

Hi:

Unfortunately, there is nothing we can do to help you, since HP will no longer supply the required SMC.bin file that is used to clear the BIOS password.

That was the only way it could be done.

HP issued this document recently...

Also the forum rules were amended on 1 March 2019, which no longer allow us to help with removing BIOS passwords.

Rule 4.d...
