Product: HP Notebook 15.6" HD Touch Display

My mother passed and as I was cleaning out the house found an HP Notebook.  It had been opened but was back in the box.  I will include product number at bottom.  I do not know if there are any family photos or pertinent info on the machine.  THE PROBLEM is that I dont know her password to log in and found nothing online to get me past that screen.  I searched for info around her computer room but found nothing written.  I am the last of my family other than a son my brother left behind and if there are photos I would like to share them with him before I pass as well.  I do not know what to do from here.
