Battery wouldnt charge so I replaced it but wouldnt charge either.

I tried windows update and when restarted after update it went to blue screen "windows ran into error and needs to restart your pc."

It hasn't booted since no matter what I do.

Boots a blank screen.

I attempted BIOS recovery using WIN+B, nothing.....

removed the back and disconnected the battery, waiting 10 minutes and plugged it back in. Nothing

I removed battery  held power button for minute and a half then left battery disconnected and plugged laptop into charger.

STILL BLACK SCREEN.

power light blinks yellow no matter how long I leave plugged in.....

Caplock blinks also

i cant get to bios, boot menu, recovery or safe mode, or boot from usb

When I press F9 I see "F9...Change Boot Device Order" but the boot order menu never appears, When I press F10 I see "F10...Bios Setup Options" but the BIOS never appears, and so on for any f2, f5, f8, f10, everything!

This laptop has my entire musical portfolio.

Basically, everything I've done for the past 2 decades.

composition, recording, editing, etc.

As this was a relatively new laptop, ( less than 6 months,) I hadn't gotten a chance to do a full cloud backup thinking I'd be ok with the my external hard drive but it failed..

I desperately need to get back into this laptop!!!!

being the only copy of the majority of my original compositions... irreplaceable..... 😱

Honestly, I know it had a battery problem, but it ran just great plugged in with no other issues.

But i think maybe that update did something, I dont know.

I'm completely at a loss what to do..

If anyone has any ideas, or tips, etc..

I would be very very grateful for any help.
