Product: HP Pavilion Notebook - 17-g153us

My laptop suddenly stopped and froze before getting to the login screen. Followed all of the instructions on checking the system and boot startups in the diagnostics. DST kept failing. Said I needed a new hard drive. Bought a new hard drive annd installed it, however,  keep getting the same message DST failed so I cannot even reinstall Windows. Please help!!  Thanks.
