I have read your post and wanted to help. I understand that your laptop takes a long time to boot up, and the screen remains blank.

 

Please follow the document below for troubleshooting:

If the screen works again, please follow the document below to troubleshoot the slow start problem:

HP PCs - Computer Is Slow (Windows 8)
