Product: Hp Pavillion

Hi my laptop is stuck in a "Preparing Automatic Repair" loop and and I've tried everything, ran diagnostics and test which the pc passed but it will not let me even go to the repair setting after pressing F11, it just says please wait then goes blank and back to the "Preparing Automatic Repair" window.

 

What do I do from here? 💔

I am having the same problem.  After the recent windows update a few days ago (9/8/20), my PC performance degraded severely, so I attempted to do a system restore, to a restore point a few days prior to the update.  I started the restore in the evening, and when I got up the next morning the restore was still on a window saying it was restoring the registry.  I attempted to reboot, and since then I am getting a screen saying "Preparing Automatic Repair", and after that I get a blank screen, and nothing happens after that.
