Hi @Aviralshrey,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP 15.6 Inch Laptop PC 15 is not booting up, and you're not seeing any lights at the AC adapter port or any fan movement, there could be several potential issues. Here are some steps you can take to troubleshoot the problem.
Check Power Connection:
- Ensure that the AC adapter is securely plugged into both the laptop and a working power outlet.
- Try a different power outlet to rule out issues with the current outlet.
Verify the AC Adapter:
- Make sure the AC adapter is functioning correctly. You can test it by using a compatible adapter or trying it on a different device.
- Check for any damage to the power cord or adapter itself.
Inspect the Battery:
- If your laptop has a removable battery, try removing it and then reinserting it.
- If the battery is non-removable, skip this step.
Reset Power:
- Disconnect the AC adapter and remove the battery (if possible).
- Hold down the power button for 15-20 seconds to discharge residual power.
- Reconnect the battery and AC adapter, then try turning on the laptop.
Check for Indicator Lights:
- Some laptops have LED indicator lights to show power status. Check if any of these lights are on or flashing.
- If there are no indicator lights, it could indicate a power-related issue.
Hardware Issues:
- There might be an issue with the laptop's internal hardware (e.g., motherboard, power supply).
External Display:
- Connect your laptop to an external monitor to check if the issue is with the display. If you see the display on the external monitor, the problem may be related to the laptop screen.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
