I do not know the "administrator password" or "power on password" for my laptop.  I have been a loyal hp customer, all my devices are hp, well 2 printers and 3 laptops.  6 months ago I was hacked and not sure where it began. I know at one point I was locked out of my printer, 2 laptops, and even my cell phone! All at the same time! When I select forgot password on my laptop it would state that identity verification notification was sent to my NOKIA device.  I have never owned a Nokia. This went on for about 6 hours before me email password finally worked again and I factory reset my galaxy to receive notifications on my galaxy.  More times than i care to count i have had email passwords that were changed from what i know for a fact tjey had been.  One time my screen lock was require a 5 digit pin to unlock and i always use 8.  Files will be open that i cant rememeber the last time i had opened. Sometimes brand new files ive never seen.  I went and bought new router, new laptop, new phone, changed number, and all my emails.  Made certain not to over lap them or logon with new credetials on old decvices and vice versa.   Some how, two days after purchasing the all new, an old email was linked with a new one and all my stuff had been synced together.  I no for certain I did all I could do to make sure none of them were combined. I have no idea how this keeps happening but it is to a point I have removed all my electronics and taken the to a friend's and have to go there to use them . I have no wifi at home. There are hard inquiries on my credit report and the local police depart says I can't do anything because I haven't had monetary loss.  What about the phone and laptop and routers tho?! I mean, I am at a total loss for ideas and could use some suggestions.

I can readily understand your frustration at this situation -- but this sounds to me like a combination of curcumstances, NONE of which have anything to do with HP.

My first GUESS is that you are making the mistake of using as MS login to your PC.  MS tries to FORCE this on all Win11 users, and when this happens, they also try to force cross-device synchronization of login credentials -- which can cause many of the problems you have experienced.

Why is one of the MAIN reasons I avoid using an MS login on ANY of my devices!!

My suggestion in this area to read this Tutorial from the community Win11 forums about accounts, and if yours is a MS account, scroll down to the bottom of the thread and view the tutorial on switching to a Local Account:

Second issue is that it sounds like your home network has been hacked through the WiFi -- and that is more common than folks think.  Since EVERYONE now has WiFi at home, this happens a LOT -- even to me.  I ran into this a few weeks ago because I got lazy and quit securing my home network.  You will need technical help at home, which I can not provide, to configure your router to provide access to specific devices.  Each router does this differently, but once you have done this, only devices you have specifically identified can access your network.

Good Luck
