Hi, the screen don't come on and theres a 3 long lights followed by 5 shorts one on the caps lock. How can i fixe that. The laptop is not 2 yeaes old.

Hello @Jel4,

 

According to HP Support documentation, 3 long blinks followed by 5 short blinks indicates that the CPU is not detected. 

 

I'm afraid the only thing you can really do is contact HP for support or perhaps find a nearby tech shop and see if they have some advice.
