Hi @Don-Gl,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If your HP 3880 printer is frozen with the HP logo and the loading bar, and the power button continues to flash on and off, you can try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue.
Perform a Power Cycle:
- Unplug the power cord from the back of the printer.
- Wait for about 60 seconds.
- Plug the power cord back in.
- Turn the printer on and check if the issue persists.
Check for Paper Jams:
- Make sure there are no paper jams inside the printer. Open any access doors and check for any stuck paper.
Perform a Hard Reset:
- Turn off the printer.
- Disconnect the power cord from the back of the printer.
- Wait for a few minutes.
- Reconnect the power cord and turn on the printer.
Update Firmware:
- Visit the HP official website and check if there are any firmware updates available for your printer model. If so, download and install the latest firmware.
Check for Hardware Issues:
- Ensure that all cables are securely connected.
- If possible, try connecting the printer to a different power outlet.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
