Hi @Amrunuj,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
It sounds like your HP Victus laptop is booting into a command prompt (C:\>) instead of the normal Windows environment. This can happen if the operating system isn't loading properly. Here are a few steps you can take to troubleshoot this issue.
Restart the Laptop:
- Hold the power button to turn off the laptop completely.
- Press the power button again to restart the laptop and see if it boots into Windows this time.
Check Boot Order in BIOS:
- Restart your laptop and as soon as it starts, press Esc or F10 repeatedly to enter the BIOS (the key might vary).
- Go to the "Boot" section and make sure that your primary hard drive (with Windows installed) is selected as the first boot device.
- Save and exit BIOS, then see if the laptop boots normally.
Check for Windows Installation:
- If it's a brand-new laptop, it’s possible that Windows hasn't been set up yet or there’s an issue with the installation.
- If you have access to an installation media (like a Windows USB stick), you can boot from it and either repair or install Windows.
Run System Recovery:
- Restart the laptop and press F11 repeatedly as it starts to access HP Recovery options.
- From here, you can select "Troubleshoot" > "Reset this PC" to reinstall Windows or try to repair it.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
